Ã山ǿ¼é is an Independent Catholic Secondary School conducted in the Lasallian tradition, with an enrolment of 2,200 students, boys Years 7 to 10, co-educational in Years 11 and 12. Ã山ǿ¼é is located in Castle Hill, NSW, and offers a wide range of subject choices and extra-curricular activities.

As our College continues to expand, we are excited to invite applications for a dynamic Senior Geography and or Society & Culture Teacher who excels in communication and creativity. In this role, you will captivate students with engaging Geography and Society & Culture lessons, offer insightful guidance and support, and play a pivotal role in nurturing their academic and pastoral care.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:

• Ability to teach Stage 6 Geography and/or Society & Culture;
• Planning and Implementing effective teaching and learning strategies for Stage 6 Geography and/or Society
Culture;
• Willingness to teach Stages 4-5 History or Geography;
• Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning;
• Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred but not essential;
• Working collaboratively in an HSIE Faculty;
• Ability to implement new syllabi;
• Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment;
• Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive
resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes;
• Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.
