As our College continues to expand, we are excited to invite applications for a dynamic Senior Geography and or Society & Culture Teacher who excels in communication and creativity. In this role, you will captivate students with engaging Geography and Society & Culture lessons, offer insightful guidance and support, and play a pivotal role in nurturing their academic and pastoral care.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:
鈥� Ability to teach Stage 6 Geography and/or Society & Culture;
鈥� Planning and Implementing effective teaching and learning strategies for Stage 6 Geography and/or Society
Culture;
鈥� Willingness to teach Stages 4-5 History or Geography;
鈥� Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning;
鈥� Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred but not essential;
鈥� Working collaboratively in an HSIE Faculty;
鈥� Ability to implement new syllabi;
鈥� Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment;
鈥� Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive
resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes;
鈥� Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.
